Fritz Perls as a young man. _____________________________ Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future. --Paul Boese Forgive others their transgressions, forgive your own transgressions against yourself. Best yet, don't beat yourself up over the past. Just learn from it. Even if you are not religious, try on this 1969 Gestalt Prayer : I am I and you are you. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, And you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful. If not, it can't be helped. --Fritz Perls (1893-1970) Have a wonderful Easter, my cyber ones.

Your body can be very forgiving, but you also need to forgive yourself for your food transgressions. What is a "food transgression"? I define this as bingeing and general overeating, eating mindlessly. Eating a piece of Key Lime pie is not necessarily a food transgression, but eating four slices would fall under this category. It's like defining pornography: you know it when you see it (or, in this case, when you do it). However, no matter what you did yesterday, today is a new day. Just pick up and move on.
